I ordered the shocks and the rebate instructions were easy enough to follow. I guess I expected the rebate process to be a little quicker and more automatic, so I was slightly unsure if my submission had even gone through. I ended up emailing once to check, and they did get back to me and take care of it. In the end, the rebate came through, just slower than I was expecting. Giving it 4 stars because everything worked out, but that part could definitely be smoother.

It took quite a while to get help, and at first it felt like nobody had even read my message. But once they finally got back to me, they were able to help me out.

I got the shocks installed and they seem fine, but the directions could’ve been a lot clearer. My brother helped me out for part of it, and even then it took longer than I thought it would. Not a terrible install, just kind of average overall.

I got a set of shocks from Shock Surplus last year for my old Tacoma, and rough on it I am sometimes. Dirt roads, potholes around town, all that normal stuff it sees a lot.
So far, they’ve been really solid. No leaks that I can see, no weird clunking noises, and the ride feels still about the same as when I first put them on.

I thought they might wear out faster, but they haven’t, which is nice. Happy with how durable they’ve been, and I’d buy from here again probably

A couple pages loaded a little slower, and a few options had me side-eyeing the screen like, “Okay, who designed this part and what are they not telling us?” Not saying there’s a secret shock absorber cabal, but some of those choices felt suspiciously specific at first.
